There Is No Lack in the Kingdom
A personal reflection on scarcity, provision, and God’s design
Grab a cup of coffee and pull up a chair—we need to talk!
Lately, I've had one of those massive lightbulb moments where thoughts and questions are beginning to click into place. I'm realizing that a lot of my mindset around business, money, and provision was rooted in a worldly, scarcity-centric lie.
I used to view life like a finite pie: if I took a bigger slice, or wanted something more for myself, I was somehow leaving less for everyone else. Worse yet, if someone was already doing what God put on my heart, I'd think, "Well, that spot's taken. Guess there's not enough left for me."
But the more time I spend in God's Word, the more I realize just how upside-down that thinking is.
God's Original Design: Multiplication
Go back to Genesis 1. God's original intention for us was to be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Multiply - God operates through multiplication!
Think about an apple. When you eat an apple, you aren't just consuming a piece of fruit. Within the apple are seeds with the potential to grow whole orchards! In God's economy, consumption leads to multiplication. Jesus said, "Give, and it will be given to you... full measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over." That's not addition; that's multiplication.
✨ There is NO lack in the Kingdom.
David didn't write, "The Lord is my Shepherd, I'll try to get by." He wrote, "I shall not want." (The Passion Translation reads, "I always have more than enough").
My friend, God's ways are higher, and His design is rooted in radical abundance, generosity, and provision.
Oh my goodness, friends… He is so good!It's time to throw off the lie that there isn't enough to go around. Let's invite Him to challenge our thoughts and daily renew our minds. Stay close to Him today. Talk to Him all day long, walk tall, live a life worthy of your high rank (Eph 4:1 TPT) and let Him show you how He sees things. When we align with His heart, He takes care of the rest!
